Paid Content

How paid content works

Once you've enabled monetization, you will need to set up pricing to start renting your videos. Learn how to set up pricing here.
Paid content allows you to earn revenue two ways.
  1. Rent your videos to users on an individual, on-demand basis for 48 hours at a time.
  2. Sell a paid monthly subscription that gives paying users access to view all of your channel's videos.
Either way, the pricing for these options is completely up to you. Keep in mind that in-stream ads are disabled on all paid videos. In-stream ads will still be served on videos that are not listed as paid content.
With paid content, you'll earn a 70% share of all revenue generated by customers who rent your videos or pay to subscribe to your channel. The more views your videos get, the more revenue you earn—so make sure to share and embed your paid content videos to source more rentals and subscriptions.
To get paid, make sure to add your banking information. Earned revenue will automatically be transferred to your PayPal account or bank account every month when your balance exceeds $100. Also, you can always track your revenue and view your payments.
